I run Leads Bank and I write the guides on this site. Most of them started as answers to the same questions installers put to me on the phone: what should a lead cost, how do I know if a supplier is any good, and why do so many enquiries go nowhere.

Background

A bit about me

My background is in digital marketing and lead generation. Over the years I've generated hundreds of thousands of leads across the UK, France and the US, for my own businesses and for clients. I started Leads Bank after watching good installers pay for the same homeowner's details as four of their competitors, then wonder why nobody picked up. We run our own advertising, check each enquiry, and send it to one firm. That's the whole model.

Running the campaigns means I see a lot of numbers that installers normally don't: what a boiler enquiry costs in Leeds against Guildford, how quickly a solar lead goes cold, which firms close well and what they do differently. When I quote a figure in an article it's from our own data or from a customer who's told me what happened on their side.

If I've got something wrong in an article, or you've got a question I haven't covered, send me a message on LinkedIn.
